Festive cheer at Magdalen House!

There was festive cheer at West End care home Magdalen House yesterday when bakery chain Greggs kindly donated 80 Christmas Pies to the residents to wish them all a very Happy Christmas.   The festive gift was part of Greggs’ sponsorship of the recent West End Christmas Fortnight events.

We are very grateful to Greggs for this generous gesture for the folk at Magdalen House.   Here’s a photo below :

The festive gift was part of Greggs’ sponsorship of the recent West End Christmas Fortnight events and I had the pleasure of handing them into Magdalen House today – here’s a picture of some of the residents receiving the pies!

Many thanks Greggs!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of delivering 100 Christmas pies to the residents of Magdalen House, the care home in Roseangle for adults with learning disabilities.   I am pictured below with some of the residents and a rather large supply of mincemeat pies!
This event took place as part of the West End Christmas events and I am very grateful to Greggs the Bakers on Perth Road, who donated the pies.   A very Happy Christmas to all the folk at Magdalen House!

Christmas Eve fun at Magdalen House!

As reported in tonight’s Evening Telegraph, this morning, I had the pleasure of attending the presentation of Christmas Pies (and sausage rolls!) to the folk at Magdalen House in Roseangle.

The presentation was courtesy of the generosity of Greggs the Bakers and Lesley Christie from Greggs & I are pictured (above) at the presentation.

Greggs have again been generous contributors to West End Christmas Week and we are most grateful to them.

Photocall at Magdalen House!

We had a lovely photocall at Magdalen House yesterday. As part of the West End Christmas Week, Greggs the Bakers very kindly donated 100 Christmas Pies, and the Christmas Week Committee decided to donate them to the folk at Magdalen House in Roseangle. See photo above!

Many thanks to the Courier, who covered the story in this morning’s edition.  The Evening Telegraph is to be publishing a photo of the “Christmas Pies Photocall!” – and – later – will also feature the home-made Raspberry and Strawberry Jam sales initiative to raise funds for the residents’ social events fund.
