WestFest Big Sunday 2014 – a great success!

It was great to see such a huge turnout on Magdalen Green this afternoon at WestFest’s Big Sunday – and we had a great laugh whilst staffing the Friends of Magdalen Green/Roseangle Playpark Campaign stall!    Here’s a few photos and videos from the day:

Don’t miss WestFest Big Sunday 2014!

WestFest’s Big Sunday 2014 takes place from 1pm to 7pm this Sunday, 8th June, on Magdalen Green!

Big Sunday is now a firm fixture on the start of summer calendar and can be enjoyed by everyone. You can spend a day lounging on the grass listening to a free concert – or better still up on your feet and dancing! 

You can wander through the great range of stalls having a brilliant shopping experience with excellent food and drink and a range of handmade craft items on sale. 

This year will see WestFest’s first vintage village with opportunities to pick up gladrags and accessories from yesteryear and stop for a breather at the special vintage tea stall.

There will be activities for children and sports taster sessions as well as the chance to try your hand at creativity with the ‘decorate the green’ area and craft workshops.

Whether you chose to make it a day of thrift or a day of splurge is up to you but you can be guaranteed a great day out!
